Hi Roomies. The school summer holidays are almost upon us and as most of us know it can be quite hard to keep the kids entertained throughout the six weeks without it hitting our pockets hard.

Well here at Bingo9 we aim to help in that area which is why we will be listing lots of free UK events the whole family could attend. The emphasis will be on FREE, so these will be great family days out where no entrance fee will be required.

If you live in London there are loads of free events coming up over the next few weeks and throughout August. So these might be worth taking a look at roomies.

The (Carnival de Cuba) will be taking place on Monday 1^st August. This will be held at Southwark Park and there will be lots of music and dancing going on to celebrate Cuba in London.

Have any of you attended the Notting Hill Carnival before? For your information the Notting Hill Carnival will take place between Sunday 28^th and Monday 29^th August. This is a colourful vibrant event which features music and loads of Caribbean stalls. Once again this one is free to attend roomies.

The Brixton splash is a mixture of music, arts and crafts, food, live music, theatre, dance performances and sound systems that celebrates local talent. Sunday 7^th August is the date you need to put in your calendars for the Brixton Splash.

So whether you want to see a carnival, parade, listen to rock, pop or jazz music there are free UK festivals going on to suit everyone’s tastes.

It is still possible to have a great time without spending loads of cash, take picnics for your days out and you won’t be spending loads of food either.
